To stretch means exposing yourself to the risk of failure.
Mmmmm, doesn't that sound relevant to every entrepreneur who has dared to go beyond the confines of their headspace??
We do this every day with our websites, our blogs, our ads and events. We put ourselves out there. We expose our ideas to the risk of ridicule, negativity, opposing opinions and trolls.
We expose our values, our beliefs, our dreams & our hard work to the eyes of strangers.
We try out new offerings, new packages & new pricing. We adjust designs, words & marketing strategies. Risking failure every step of the way. And every time we have the courage to risk failure & leap with creativity & compassion? There's the magic of insight waiting on the other side.
Yes, it worked.
No, it didn't work...& now I know.
Insight rarely comes from staying inside our heads. You have to stretch. You have to expose yourself to the risk of failure & get out there & test it out.
This is the entrepreneur's brand of courage.
